Volt 10 Preview is here

Posted on May 2, 2018 by Iian Kehn

Volt 10 is the next release of the Volt platform, it's quite a notable release too. Today I am proud to announce the first preview of Volt 10, which brings an early look at what's to come down the road.

I don't have a definitive changelog in this release, as most of the changes I have made up to this point is clean-up, as well as addressing bugs within the code that should have been addressed a long time ago.

But if you insist on a changelog, here's what has been fixed in this release.
  • I fixed an issue where fonts weren't loading. I'm now using native fonts which "should" work on all platforms.
  • I moved the nav bar to the left side of the page next to the logo, it flows better on mobile.
    • Speaking of mobile, there should be no more scrolling issues!
  • I fixed an issue where overflow was occuring on multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Removed references to "News" on all pages, as announced a little while back.
  • Pushed out refreshers to all the help pages (both beta and non-beta).
  • Made changes to the about page, to better serve my readers/followers
I plan on bringing in feature enhancements in the next few releases, right now my goal is to clean-up the mess I've made in the past few releases and optimize the website to better serve you guys. If you have any feedback, feel free to share your thoughts in the normal places.
